ABOUT OUR STUDS
All our stud dogs are available at short notice if required, they have been imported from Italy, Romania, Hungary, Russia and Poland, bringing in valuable new bloodlines to the UK. All are health checked hip scored and DNA tested.
OUR GERMAN SHORTHAIRED POINTERS
URVUM BALDO TYCWMDARRANS
I imported Baldo from Italy in 2021 to strengthen the quality and diversity of our breeding programme. He is a large, powerful and well-balanced dog with an excellent hip score of 3/3 = 6 and elbow score of 0/0. Baldo has been DNA tested clear of Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Canine Hyperuricosuria (HUU), RCD4 Progressive Retinal Atrophy (RCD4-PRA), Cone Degeneration (CD) and von Willebrand Disease Type I (vWD1). This means his puppies cannot be affected by any of these inherited conditions when bred to a suitable mate.
PICASSO DU NID NOBLES
I imported Picasso from Romania in 2019 to introduce some of Europe’s finest bloodlines into our breeding programme. He is an extremely friendly, laid-back dog with outstanding temperament and carries the renowned Nobles and Loup bloodlines. Picasso has an excellent hip score of 4/2 = 6 and has been DNA tested clear of Epidermolysis Bullosa Junctional (EBJ). His excellent temperament, sound construction and impressive pedigree make him an outstanding representative of the breed.
URVUM EBER OF TYCWMDARRANS
URVUM EBER OF TYCWMDARRANS (Milo) was imported from Italy in 2026 to strengthen the quality and diversity of our breeding programme. Milo is a large, handsome black and white dog with an excellent temperament, superb conformation and tremendous potential for the future.
He has an excellent hip score of 4/2 = 6 and elbow score of 0/0. Milo has been DNA tested clear of Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Canine Hyperuricosuria (HUU), RCD4 Progressive Retinal Atrophy (RCD4-PRA), Cone Degeneration (CD) and von Willebrand Disease Type II (vWD2). These results mean his puppies cannot be affected by any of these inherited conditions when bred to a suitable mate.
OUR HUNGARIAN VIZSLA
INFINITI MAGYAR TIM TYCWMDARRANS
After looking around the UK during the second half of 2023 and unable to find a potential new suitable stud dog we ended up going abroad again, this time to Poland. The result speaks for himself. Introducing ALFIE His ANKC Hip score is 3/3=6 Elbow Score 0/0=0. He is also DNA tested free of DM, HUU, vWD Type 1, RCD4-PRA.
USE OF OUR STUDS
In order to use one of our studs, your bitch should be aged between 18 months and 8 years of age. Bitches over 8 years of age cannot be bred from without consent from the Kennel Club.
She should not have had a litter in the last 12 months; a 12-month gap between births is required.
She should have had her hips and elbows* scored.
We also advise owners to consider having DNA tests depending on the breed, such as Cerebellar Ataxia for the Hungarian Vizsla.
Your bitch must be good-natured and in good health.
She should be up to date with vaccinations.
Did you know?
As responsible breeders, you should make full use of the breeding and export endorsements available from The Kennel Club when registering your puppies. These endorsements help protect the dogs you have raised from falling into the hands of puppy farmers or being exported to countries with poor animal welfare standards.
Using endorsements ensures you maintain control over how your bloodlines are used and provides an additional safeguard for the welfare of your puppies throughout their lives.
